Wanting to be the best version of myself

Hey lose it family!

Like many people here I've creeped and read the ups and downs of different stories over the years. I've tried and failed to lose weight so many times in my life.

I've lost 20 pounds in the last few months... I'm pretty morbidly obese highest weight was 510+ down to 480s currently.

My issue really stems from mobility. I wanna go out I want to walk and do that kinda stuff. But over the last few years my back has really been bothering me. I know I should go to the doctor but I feel like they'll just tell me to lose weight, or worse yet I won't fit into the machines to actually see what's wrong. I'm pretty sure I have some kinda spinal stenosis as when I stand for like 5 or 10 mins I get sciatic pain down my left leg. Even sitting in certain positions makes my back/leg pain.

I'm just so over it. I feel kinda helpless. I wanna go for those long walks on the beach I want to go window shopping at the mall but if I push myself too hard the next day my back is in all kinds of pain.

I know losing weight will reduce the strain on my back even with the 20 lbs loss I feel less stress on my back. I just don't know what to do. Maybe I'm fearful that nothing can be done and I don't want to face that reality. I really don't know.
