I forgot how much I LOVE fruit!

Hey loseit! I've been a lurker since almost the beginning of my weight loss journey, so I've finally caved, made a Reddit account, and decided to post here!

The reason for my post is well, what the title says. For the past couple years, I've been a binge eater and a junk food junkie. I've never disliked healthy foods, I just ate too much junk. I ate so many sweets and treats that fruits became kind of 'eh' to me. Don't get me wrong, I still liked them and all, but they were just 'okay'.

Now that I've stopped drinking my calories, and have mostly cut candies and sweet pastries from my diet, I've turned to eating more fruit to fulfill my cravings for sugary snacks. And MAN, I forgot how good they can be. They're so much more satisfying to eat than a cake or a chocolate bar, and I've found myself actually starting to WANT to eat chopped up bananas and strawberries more than cinnamon rolls or cookies. Plus, they fit into my calorie limit better than junkie sweets, so I can enjoy more of them without blowing all my calories.

My junk cravings have finally started switching to fruit cravings, something I never thought would happen. So yay! Mini victory, I suppose.
