Loss some weight? Not "feeling" it? Heres a little fun thing you can do if you want to feel what losing that weight is like instantly.
So like a lot of people you step on the scale and see your weight. Youre down 10/20/30 pounds but you're just not "feeling" like you lost the weight. Kinda puts a damper of things huh? Well, while some people like to look at progress pics (and some dont ((me)) ) what I like to do is this little exercise to help illustrate just the sort of strain you are saving yourself by losing that 20.
Go get a bag of some sort, a backpack is optimal, then get either your work out weights ( or anything heavy really) and fill the bag to the weight you've lost. So if you lost 20 pounds fill the bag with 20 pounds now throw it and wear it untill you get tired of lugging it around and want to take it off. Wow, big difference huh? And you thought you didnt feel like you lost 20.
Rember that our body weight is weight we carry every day, we dont get to just throw it off in one big Heap instantly like with a backpack. We lose it gradually and just like the Frog sitting in the slowly boiling water, we just don't feel like we're losing the weight because our bodies arent noticing the difference overtime. That's why you usually make small discoveries that show that youre losing weight rather than just feeling it.
TL;DR: get a backpack and then throw in the same amount of weight you've lost and carry it around, once you get tired throw it off and you'll notice the difference finally and youre body will be glad you have lost the wieght you have.
