Mindless snacking without tracking
Does anyone else have the problem of snacking on things mindlessly? Like walking by a bag of chips and just grabbing a handful. I still live with my parents who do not eat the same way I do so I can't just remove the temptation. I don't struggle with choosing healthy meals over unhealthy meals, it's only snacks. I guess part of my brain says only one bite won't hurt and then I regret everything but yet I continue to snack. Any tips to avoid this? I know, I just need better self control. But I'm 37 lbs down and only 15 away from my goal weight. I feel like I'm not going to get there if I keep making stupid mistakes like this.
