Update to: Am I Just Impatient? (Spoiler alert yes. Yes I am.)

First of all, thank you for everyone who commented, noting that my calorie intake may be too high, or that I need to be patient, or log better or it was just a heavy day because the science of the actual number on the scale relative to body mass is partly about barometric pressure. All appreciated and I'm working to streamline and get better at MFP as a tool.

Secondly, the answer to my question is Yes I am impatient. I refused to weigh myself yesterday, saying "it's too close to your cycle starting you're not going to like what you see" but today it was just me and the scale as I was getting ready to shower and I was like "screw it" and hopped on the scale, knowing I was bloated.

WHOOSH is right!!!

I am now under 190. That's right, a 48 hour variance of SEVEN POUNDS in the right direction.

I mean, I've heard of it. I've never actually cared enough about the numbers to weigh myself enough to see it. But it's there! And it's pushing me to make good choices today, like having a mango with my mom as a treat for breakfast instead of my usual oatmeal, and trying to hit my step goal before 2pm, knowing I'm going out with friends tonight and we will probably walk a lot in our adventures.

I'm so happy for the support I've already gotten from everyone and can't thank you enough!!
