You’re not on a diet

Here’s a thought that occurred to me and helps me.

You’re not on a diet, you’re not losing weight. You’re changing your relationship with food from being an abusive relationship to a nice healthy one.

A diet is a temporary change in your eating habits. Your diet will never end unless you give up your goals and desire to be healthy. The word diet implies that there is an end to eating this way.

Just know, if you begin to take your health and eating habits seriously, the word diet implies that there is an end. But you are on a “diet” for the rest of your life if you stay determined.

Also, as many of us know who use CICO, you don’t have to be on some kale organic insane diet to be healthy. You just have to (as I call it) “eating like a skinny person”!
