I get shaky, sweaty, and irritable when I’m hungry - making it hard to lose weight
This has been a problem my whole life. I have complained to doctors and they just say to eat more protein. It’s a joke in my family and with friends, “oh, ladyorchid is getting hangry again.”
I have always maintained a healthy weight for my height in terms of BMI. But I carry a lot of my weight in my midsection. Right now I’m 5’1” and 117lbs and I feel like my stomach is the best size when I’m about 110lbs. I deal with a shaky hungry moment about once per day anyway, and when I’m dieting it’s worse.
Any suggestions? Any things you eat or drink to control the shakes and the hanger? I do better with protein than carbs for sure, but eating more protein hasn’t stopped the issues all together.
