Don’t know how to dress for my new body after losing almost 50lbs. Tried this topic in other subreddits but it got deleted. Thought you guys could help out.
I tried to post this in female fashion advice and ask women something or other. Both got deleted and I’m sorry if this isn’t the right place but I’m really frustrated and thought maybe some of you could help me.
I’m in the US. I’m 29F 5’9” 144lbs. Bust 37.5”, under bust 30”, waist 27”, hips 40”, inseam 33”. If you have similar stats please tell me where you shop. Pleaseeeeee.
Long story short I keep wearing clothes that are too baggy, shopping for my old size, brining endless amounts of clothes into the fitting room that are too big, etc. I’m on a very tight budget. I still need shorts for work but all fall stuff is in the stores now. So I need to shop online...enter another problem.
For example I tried to order Lee shorts online. According to their size chart I’m a size 2 for my waist and a size 10 for my hips. What on Earth am I supposed to do in these situations? I’ve heard of being between two sizes but this is a 4 size difference.
I tried on a bunch of dress pants at Marshall’s yesterday and nothing fits properly. It might be ok on my hips and thighs but then it feels like it’s 2-3 sizes too big for my waist. Is there a secret out there that I don’t know about? Do I just really need to invest in belts from here on out?? How does this work lol??
How do you get past shopping for your old size? I need to stop wearing baggy clothes but I still feel like I look big in certain spots :(
Wahhhh!
