A GOOD vacation ending for a change!
I weighed 63.0kg/139 lbs the day I left to my Grandma's place last week. Then started my eight whole days of delicious homemade and restaurant meals with my favorite family. We don't have a working scale there and I can't estimate calories for that food we were eating, so I decided to wing it.
Naturally, I was not looking forward to weighing, when I returned.
I reached home this morning and my black scale called me sternly. Apprehensively, I stepped on it, expecting something around 65 or 66kg. BUT, 63.0kgs! Point zero! Not even 100 grams! :D EIGHT DAYS of rich food! No egg meals or vegetable meals like I usually have. All my meals had rich Indian food! Fuck, yes! :D I did the unimaginable! I maintained! I fuckin' plateaued! :D
I have been known to ramble on r/loseit about my plateaus. Every positive thing I do usually ends up with me retaining water. I started gymming, I gained a couple of pounds and held on tight for a couple of weeks. Same when I stopped gymming. Same when I started swimming. I have to wait for weeks to lose the water weight and then begin losing again. This time I had to be proud of my plateau! :D
It was SO great to see that flat log line. I think I may have learned to eat better, in general! I thought I was pigging out and I was actually eating at maintenance.
Of course, I went back to LoseIt! and logged my breakfast, I prepped my cauliflower for steaming it later this evening for dinner, but I did it SO happily.
Thankyou, body for letting me have this one. :D
Tl;Dr: Went on 8 day vacation with rich food, without tracking weight or calories AND did not gain weight!
