Pork panko? buy or crush your own?

Can people chime in. Is Pork Panko from Bacon's Heirs worth buying? Is bags of plain pork rings in the food processor just as good? If the Bacon's heir better will storing it in a sealed jar keep it fresh? I don't have options for fresh. Thanks everyone
