Halfway to goal!
I’ve been lurking on here for quite a while and never had a reason to post. But I have reached a milestone that I feel like I need to share.
I started getting serious about losing weight on May 17, 2018. I was 30yo, 5’10 and weighed in at 323.5lbs. I was mortified. I signed up for iTrackBites and Happy Scale and started working.
Well, after 235 days, I have lost 79lbs, bringing me down to 245lbs. Which means I’m halfway to my goal of 170lbs.
I have been overweight my entire life. I remember being 180lbs in the 6th grade and I think the lowest I’ve been in my adult life was 209, which was 10 years ago. This is the longest I’ve ever stuck to a diet and the most I’ve ever lost. I’m naturally a very lazy person, so to say I’m surprised to make this much progress in 8 months is an understatement.
A big thing that has kept me going was seeing all the posts on here, seeing people also losing and knowing I could do it too. I know I’m only halfway, I still have a long road ahead of me. But I hope that a year from now (or whenever I get to goal) that I’ll be able to share that with all of you and hopefully inspire someone else to do the same.
