I gained weight over the holidays...
I didn’t track my food, indulged whenever and of course the results were that I gained weight. I actually was too afraid to step on the scale until the day before my vacation officially ended last Saturday. I weighed 7 more pounds than the last time I weighed myself 18 days prior.
Obviously felt like a failure, but I thought it through and I knew the scale was lying (just a little). I immediately got back on track and ate really well the next two days and I’ve already dropped 3 pounds since Saturday (pesky salt and water retention).
Even more so, I looked back on far I’ve come(WEIGHT CHART) and a few pounds weight gain is nothing in comparison. There will be ups and downs, but as many people have said, it’s a marathon, not a sprint.
The fact that I recognized it was time to get back to routine is evidence enough that I’m now living a healthy lifestyle.
