I'm finally committing to losing weight
I'm a couple of days into this journey and right now I'm focusing on MFP and controlling how much I eat every day. I finally purchased some scales, mechanical ones are all I could afford right now. When I weighed myself I discovered I was actually a stone heavier than what I thought I would be, so I'm now at the heaviest I've ever been. I'll be honest, it was discouraging but I have no intentions of giving up on this.
Stats: 24yo female, 5'7. I currently weigh exactly 18st and want to lose about 7st, which is about 100lbs. I'm mainly going to do this by CICO, partly because I haven't got the energy to work out right now and partly because I want to see if it actually works.
I have a question! Should I be weighing myself every day and putting the result into MFP? I'm still learning how to use the app and I haven't really seen it mentioned here if I should do that.
I'll probably try to post updates every month or so. Thanks for motivating me so much.
