Lost the first 10 pounds of my entire life!
Hi all!
I'm 25 and I've been steadily gaining 5 pounds each year since freshman year of college. 5 pounds isn't much, but over seven years... it seemed fine until I hit 150lbs and all of a sudden felt the urge to be sedentary, got wild cravings, had hormonal swings, acne, and got winded climbing a flight of stairs... even with a "normal range" BMI. That weight just wasn't making my body happy, at all.
I've tried to lose weight before, but have never successfully lost even one pound (not tracking calories). This is why I'm so amazed with some of the posts on here. The strength it must take to lose 50, 100 pounds??? I'm in awe. Honestly.
I took your guys recommendations and downloaded My Fitness Pal once again, and have been logging for two months.
Over two months, I have lost ten pounds! It feels SO good, after having never been able to lose a single pound in my life.
Thanks for all of your combined wisdom.
