My body fell apart, but I still want to lose weight...help!!
I’ve always been in decent to good shape. Trained for years doing HIIT and running. I’m now 27.
About six months ago, I had a mental breakdown from being overwhelmingly stressed and some life events happened, so I took a few months off from everything from September to November, and rehabbed my physical self while I mentally got over some hurdles.
Then in mid-November we moved and my body started rebelling.
While moving I picked up a box and pulled my hip flexor in November.
On a run in December I pulled a calf muscle.
Then doing burpees last week I tore a shoulder muscle.
And finally today, I bent over to pick up my cat and pulled a muscle in my lower back.
I’m honestly, heartbroken.
I am wondering if anyone here has had success with dieting alone, or just walking and dieting, because that’s all I can really do right now until I can afford to see a doctor.
I stopped drinking, which may have played into my body being in shambles in the first place, and I eat a vegetarian diet and take a multivitamin every day. I’ve still got 20 extra pounds on a short girl frame to lose.
Any help is really appreciated!!
