A small defeat

So today I was at an amusement park with my husband, we planned on going on a couple of rides. First ride was fun, second ride....the restraint didn’t click because I’m too big so I couldn’t go on the ride. My husband was able to go on the ride. As he was riding the ride, I kept repeating “it’s a small defeat” in my head over and over. As soon as my husband came back he asked me if I was ok. I shook my head and started crying. He was so supportive and loving with this situation. He especially knows that I’ve been working hard this year to lose weight (which I’ve lost 15 pounds so far) but it hurt not being able to ride that ride. I told him later today that next time we come here, I’ll be able to ride the ride. 💪🏻 I’m not giving up
