I didn’t order the dinner that was almost my entire day’s worth of calories!
Fairly new to r/loseit, but I wanted to pat myself on the back for a second.
I went to Applebee’s with some friends, and I didn’t plan what to eat beforehand...my old, impulsive self would immediately go for the dinner that was almost a day’s worth of calories by itself (the quesadilla burger- 1330 calories!) Instead, I went for one that was a little over a third of the day’s calories- the bourbon street chicken and shrimp at 610 calories!
The old me would just get the burger and say “well, it’s just once...” and continue to follow the same habits. The current me avoided the impulsive choices, and instead enjoyed a great chicken and shrimp with no regret!
It’s the little things that count! Thanks for reading! Keep pushing forward, friends!
