Day One, Starting at 310 lbs, 6'2", 22M

Apologies for formatting, on mobile.

I woke up this morning and put in a workout DVD, the first disc of Beachbody's T25 program.

I hate the way I look, but I don't think I eat too poorly anymore. I'm not tracking calories or anything but I've cut out soda entirely, candy almost entirely, and I'll admit I still eat fast food occasionally but far less than I used to. It used to be a three or four times a week. Now it's twice a month, sometimes less.

My weight hasn't changed. At least, not yet.

My goal is 225, but if I get to 250, I'll be happy.

I'm big. I've been big since I was 10 years old and my parents took me off my ADHD medication (which cut my appetite into fourths). I graduated high school at the weight of 270 lbs. I played American Football, which helped with my weight, but I simply don't have the money for a gym membership. I tend to carry my weight well. I have broad shoulders, a good bit of muscle, and what some would call tree trunk legs. I'm not trying to humblebrag. I'm trying to see positive in all the negative I put myself through before taking this step.

But my torso is where I carry all, or most, of my fat. NSFW before picture, I won't make you look

Wish me luck. Today is the first step in a long journey, but one I know will be so, so worth it.
