My first 10K!
I used to weigh 300 lbs. I still weigh a lot. But for the first time in my life, I was able to run 10 KM on a treadmill. It took time to work my way up to this. A year ago just jogging for 10 min left me in pain and choking for air. But I worked my way up by adding a small amount of distance and/or time every week. I also added weight lifting a couple times a week. I literally cannot believe it. I wasn’t allowed to play pop warner football because I was 200 lbs when the Weight limit was 150 lbs. I have never been able to run 10K in my life. Slow and steady won the race! Next goal is to hit my wedding weight by the end of this summer. Wish me luck!
