I wanna thank you. My friends and family have been telling me I lost weight when I didn't even noticed it. All it took was looking at this sub.
Little bit of context : I was tiny and skinny when I was a kid (nickname the prawn) and at one point I just grew up and gain some weight. During my college time I was leaving alone and I have a subway, a mcdo and a kebab at least once per week. I gain more than 10 kilos and flirted with the 80 kg (I'm 1m75). I lost a bit with the years but until last year I was around 78.
Last year was an important year for me as I decided to leave my comfort zone : left the video game industry I started my career in, the way I organize myself, the way I think and decided to finally tackle my weight. I saw a post of an Asian guy talking about MFP (my fitness pal) and decided to try it. I was baffled by the amout of calories I would eat without realizing it. I cut the sugar, the French fries and most importantly... The bread. I would eat at least half a baguette a day (French BTW) and it was just not good.
At first it wasn't easy but I quickly got accustomed to it. It became an habit to look at calories and be more careful. A few months after I started, my mom, who's really into weight issue noticed I lost weight and she was a bit amazed when I told her I just changed my alimentation. I didn't had more physical activities other than walking.
More people told me I lost weight and I didn't even realized it. Reading the stories of people decided to lose weight help as I felt I wasn't alone one the beginning, and my heart is filled with joy when I see people reaching their goal. Keep it up, all of you.
