Sedentary to active, weight up not down

I figure there is an explanation to this, but I'm not sure. I figured if anyone knew it would be you guys!

I'm very obese. Before last week I was basically sedentary. I got a new job and completely under estimated how physical it would be. Other than a 30 minute lunch, I'm basically on my feet, walking, stooping, bending, lifting etc., non stop. It's been a very rough adjustment, but I'm proud I've managed to keep up. My feet have killed me, along with basically all my muscles. Foot pain is starting to improve, which I am very happy with.

Anyway, my eating hasn't been great, but has drastically decreased. Even though my eating has been less, and my exercise is through the roof, my weight has gone up a bit not down. Is this due to inflammation, or something along those lines? Just curious what's going on with my body!
