Changing my goal. Closer than I thought!

Hi all,

I had originally set my goal to 180-190. Now, I’m thinking I will change my goal to 197. 50lbs!

A reason I am changing it is due to the fact I started a workout routine which I am progressing very smoothly on. Clearly the goal is to pack on as much muscle as possible. I eat 200g protein a day. Sometimes in deficit sometimes in a surplus. My downfall. But if I began to bulk, upwind? But I digress.

I plan to now commit to a slow and steady 10-12 lb loss (been overeating so I may have a few extra lbs). I have chest and arm day going from 1x a week to 2-3x/week.

Benching 1RM is ~170 Squat ~ 200 (old record was 235) Deadlift NA (old record was 315)

I am much weaker than I used to be and even then, I was small but I did see arms forming! This was at 205lbs. I felt pretty fit and 10-15lbs from my goal of being slimmm.

10/9. I am going to give it my best go around until Christmas. I know I will be probably seeing family. ->12/25 2 months. If I can make a difference with muscle and fat loss, I can affect my body fat % pretty well!

The problem, I have a hard time having control over my eating! Especially since I started weights. Should I try to let it flow more naturally? I was doing so well with eating beforehand.
