Need Assistance (Advanced)
Male, 31, I've been training for 10 years, currently 6'2 about 295-300. Proportional and still in a 38/40 jean.
I've had good lifts and been active in sports, but I'm getting too big and it's starting to be uncomfortable and a problem.
I've eaten consistent/good plans before with good macros etc.. I've only ever seen good results and that was on ec stack. (legal in my country). I don't love it long term and there's rebound effects, good for contest, but not long term.
The issue I have is that I have mild sleep apnea, not enough to make life terrible or awaken at night, but enough to keep cortisol high and basically have HORRIBLE fat loss capabilities, lower lung capacity etc.... and all the other bad things that go with low oxygen. Considering I know what "good" sleep feels like, I would say that I feel 50-65% "worse" being heavy. Fat loss is equally challenging it's basically impossible.
So I realize many will say "you don't defy physics" and that's true there's no fat people starving, but that's not really "optimal" for performance or even having a decent life every day. What I'm saying is, sure I can cut to 500-1200 calories a day and it will "work" but that's not a reasonable solution. I've ran 2K-2400 cals with no change over 8-12 weeks. (That's crazy for someone my size)
Basically I have no idea what to do, I do 2-3 hours of cardio a week, 4-5 lifting sessions etc.. usually 5:30-7:30PM
I'm open to anything, training differently, times, eating differently, supplements, you name it!!
I want to be a nice 215-230lbs while maintaining a 360 bench, 525 squat, and around a 600 dead. ( Current 1RM are 340B, 505D, 415s. The goals are basically back to my "personal bests" when i was 23/24)
