Advice for meal planning/macro counting for two people with vastly different macros?

So there's at least an 1000 caloric difference between my husband and my needs for weight loss, and I want to start preparing meals that would work for both of us. I know I could add more in quantity to my husband's meals, and that's probably the best way to do it, But are there any other tips or tricks I could learn from some of you all who are or have been in my situation?

I'm kind of used to making my own food or considering my own portions, so that makes it easy for recipes, but when I have to expand the recipe or look for ones that have more calories, I think it might just be bit of a juggle for a while.

So yeah, maybe I'm overthinking this, haha. But any helpful tricks, for cooking, measuring, or anything else that could help me, would be great. :-) Thanks!
