I've hit the 2st (28lb) mark! Horray!

So 28lb is pretty impressive, especially is you google what weighs 28lbs (which is a toddler, give or take). But how did i get here? It's not going to work for everyone but this is what works for me. (SW:358 on 16/05/20 CW:330 24/08/20)

  • 1 i weigh myself everyday, except for when i'm on my period (the excess weight from a period is so disheartening!) and log the weight on happyscale. I set my goal for every 5lb, i enjoy working towards smaller targets and seeing me weightloss graph. Its all downwards trend which is great!
  • 2 I'm not currently exercising. I have been decorating which is 'natural' exercise but i haven't done any supplementary walking etc. I'm still working from home and ensuring i have minimal contact with people means i spend most the day not leaving the house or sitting at my desk. At this moment in time i would prefer to eat less and move less. i appreciate i would probably aid my weightloss if i moved more, but that's not happening at the moment.
  • 3 my TDEE is around 2711kcal allowance and i eat between 1500 - 1800, which seems like plenty.
  • 4 i don't eat after 6 or 7pm but i still drink anything i like and i eat again about midday the next day. Still have drinks in the morning.
  • 5 i skip breakfast. I prefer to share my kcals between lunch and dinner (I've never been a morning eater, always an evening binge-er)
  • 6 I log all meals on loseit. IMO its got a nicer interface than MFP and just feels like it punishes me less on the free version
  • 7 i use Rephno bathroom scales and also log my measures in it
  • 8 i use fitstich to take progress pics on a monthly basis
  • 9 i still eat takeaways! but i eat from places where it displays the calories and stay within my allowance. When you see the calories in some food and then feel the hunger later, you learn to order smarter (burritos from barburrito are high calorie and i was so hungry later in the evening, not worth it)

i hope that helps someone reading out there
