Time to get serious, at last! 8 Weeks, 8 Kilos
Height: 6'5Weight: 100kg (220 lbs) - GW: 92kg (202lbs)M - 24
I have battled with being overweight my entire life. At my peak, i was 120kg (264lbs) but currently sitting at 100kg (220lbs) flat. Now, I'm a tall guy so the extra weight doesn't sit terribly on me, and i don't have as much to lose as some people on this sub want to, but I have tried to get the last 8kg off for the past two years and i haven't been able to yet.
I am at a point where i am content with my weight, i definitely have a dad bod, but it is not what it once was, which makes it harder because there is no desperate need to lose weight if that makes sense. My big driver for losing weight is wanting to feel comfortable at the beach without my shirt on, losing the "big guy" nicknames, look good in photos and feel confident in myself!
I love sports, and have recently completed my first half marathon, and have another in 8 weeks time. My plan for the next 8 weeks is to stay in a calorie deficit, run a lot, and hopefully by the time the next half marathon comes around, i will be at my goal weight and ready to smash the big run!
My problem is, i eat super clean through the week, and then the weekend comes around and i treat myself too much! I love food, and use it as a reward far more often than i should, and that needs to change.
I want people on this journey with me, holding each other accountable. Who's with me for the next 8 weeks?
