Week 2 down!
Hello again! Thanks for the encouraging words and support so far! Week 2 has been interesting, here's some stats/thoughts.
F/31/5'1"/SW:180lb/CW:175lb(as of 6/13)
Overall I've been doing okish. My daily calorie goal is ~1350, but typically eat around 1400-1500 it seems. Again, I'm not getting too strict or down about being over my goal, right now my focus is more on awareness. And oh, I was AWARE this week.
To start, I'm on my period, which has made things tricky as far as craving are concerned. I wanted a burger, I had ingredients for a burger, it was my day off, fuck it, making a burger. Logged it in my phone as I sat down to eat, sweet potato fries hot and fresh out of the oven... and... oof. Reality hit. I savored each bite on my plate, but I resented how much it "cost" calorie wise. I realized I could have made a better choice for the bun(220 cal!!), but. Eh. Fuck it. It's a burger and now I know how to adjust. Lesson learned. The fries were perfect though.
I've been working doubles and logging in over 15000-18000 steps a day(normally I hit ~10000), on top of doing some quick little workouts on YouTube(squats/arms/dance). I had gotten a little lax about logging every calorie mostly because of said doubles, and the bar has a new, fresh menu that I've been eating bites of all weekend during peak hours. I figure it evens out. This week should be easier to keep track.
I got a good plan for the week, and still focused. It's definitely not getting easier, but I guess I can't expect it to. At least so far it's the longest streak I've gone actively trying to lose weight, and I've been taking it pretty seriously.
Thanks for reading!
