How do you get over food guilt?
TLDR: when I eat I feel guilty, even tho there is nothing to feel guilty of. How do I fight this feeling?
Hey guys, I've been struggling when it comes to feeling guilty every time I eat, healthy or unhealthy.
I struggled with emotional eating before, which I am much better now, but there is still this "I feel like a piece of sh." every time I eat to the point of being satisfied (not overeating)
So whenever I am not hungry I feel guilty.
I don't know how to fight this but it affects me because I get this mentality that I am failing, but when I look back into the things I ate I didn't overeat, and they are mostly healthy.
How do you cope with this? How do you fight this? Sometimes I notice I get to a point of hunger (almost starving) without noticing just because of my food guilt when I eat.
I already try to eat balanced meals, plan what I am eating, eat fairly balanced and healthy, hydrate myself a lot and eat real meals and not just snacks, I also try to eat at around the same times.
