Legs/Calves on Fire after walking for literally 5 mins.
So this year I finally decided enough was enough and when I moved houses I wanted a changed me. Bought a gym membership which is 40 mins walk, 20 mins there and 20 back.
Sure I could drive but I want that extra cardio and lose weight in the process, but it just feels like an impossible cycle. How am I going to get to the gym when my legs, specifically my calves feel like they are on fire?
Working at home is not an option too, at home I never stick to my exercise schedule and get lazy, the gym environment just makes me want to work out. Whenever I do make it to the gym I enjoy my workout so much, I fucking love lifting.
I've had really tight calves for a while now, tried massaging, light stretching but they are still tough and hard. Some days I can do the walk no problem but today, I'm sitting down on my way to the gym having a rest break after walking for 5 mins, it's fucking pathetic.
Some extra details:
23 yo, weight about 100kg, UK. Goal is to lose weight mainly. Any help would be appreciated, sorry about the rant wall of text and thanks in advance.
