Cheat day turned into cheat month and now I’m wondering, what’s even the point?

Hello all, I wonder if anyone else can relate to this or possibly even give me some advice because I’m struggling. I was eating healthy until I had a cheat meal, which usually ends with a cheat day and then I go back to my healthy eating. But it started to get out of hand plus I had some bad news from my family so I ran to food…and unfortunately now it’s been almost a month of eating this way, excluding some days here and there is when I’d try to change back to healthy but ultimately failed.

I stepped on the scale and it shows several more pounds than when I was still eating healthy. Expected, but nonetheless very sad and felt shitty. So at this point I’m almost like, what’s the point? I’m already a few pounds heavier and messed up my progress and it’s just so hard to start feeling this discouraged.

Does anyone have any good tips for this? :-(
