Body fat calculator confusion
Hi all,
Long time lurker.
I am so confused and need your help please.
Weight background: I started off at nearly 202.8lbs. I'm 1.57m tall. Female. I'm now 173.5lbs. I have Adhd so due to impulsively I would but and eat anything that brought me joy for like 20 seconds which was awful. Now that I am medicated that has just stopped. I just eat when I'm hungry and I drink ALOT of water (between 3l and 6l a day). I still eat sweets but a lot less frequent. I rarely exercise and I have a desk job. I do move around quite a lot in the office but can't do a lot of exercise due to health issues and fatigue.
My issue: Anyway, I got curious what my body fat percentage is so I googled some calculators. The vastly different results are mind boggling. Some say 50%, some say 43% and some say 28%. This takes me anywhere between morbidly obese and acceptable which is insane.
The NHS calculator puts my BMI (not the same as body fat percentage I know) at 31.9 (down from 37.3 yey!)
Measurements I have been asked for depending on the website :
Weight: 173.5lbs (78.7kg) Hight: 157cm (5f1.5 in) Neck: 14in Wrist: 6in Forearm: 10in Waist: 41in Hips: 44in
Can someone please tell me if possible which one of the results are actually accurate?
Thank you 😊
