My transformation from 82kg to 72
A few months ago I decided to make a change and shred for this summer. I was looking in the mirror and I was looking pretty disgusting in my own eyes and family members started making comments about my weight gain as well (because they are not used to seeing me with extra weight on).
The only thing that helped me was to track my calories to avoid binge/under eating. I was on 1500kCal for about 1.5months and I was hitting the gym 4 times a week, heavy workouts to preserve muscle. After I lost the weight I was happy with, I slowly bumped up my calories by around 100-200 weekly to go back to maintenance (or just below) and avoid further big deficit. The entire process took me about 2-2.5 months to complete.
Remember, BEING CONSISTENT is a HUGE part of the process. Weigh yourself beginning of every week and adjust your calories up or down according to your goals and what the scales show!
