Could Iron Supplements Help My Weight Loss?
I am 5’8 21f 160 lbs, and I’m looking to lose around 10-15 lbs. seems easy but I have been trying for months with absolutely no progress. I eat a strict 1700-1900 calories a day with a 40 minute run each morning as well as strength/hiit training multiple times a week with daily walks and an active job. I am sure I am tracking the calories correctly, before anyone asks. I’ve always had very low iron and haven’t taken the supplements in about a year or so because I struggle ibs-c and they were making the symptoms of that much worse. I just happened to read some other information about low iron making it almost impossible to lose weight. Just wondering if anyone has any information or similar experiences? If I start taking the iron pills again (which I should anyways, I know) will I be able to lose some fat?
