Desperate and in plateau
Hi, all. At my heaviest I was 100+kg (175cm tall f) and last year I managed to bring it down to 63ish. I still wanted to lose some fat bc i didnt like how my body looked, but at the same time in late November I underwent a tummy tuck procedure to get rid of my loose skin. Because I wasn’t able to exercise anymore, it turns out I put on weight all the way up to 70kg again. My gw has always been somewhere around 55-60kg. I’m quite tall and have always wanted the Slender look. Since I found out abt my weight gain back in mid-May, I decided to go on an emergency calorie deficit. I have been very restrictive with my diet. I eat 1200 calories a day. I can count on one hand, over the last 3 months, the days I’ve had less restrictive diets because of birthdays or dinner events. I am not a weekend binger. Even if I was somehow mistaking my calorie counting, it would put me at best at a 1400/day diet, which is still a deficit considering my height and the fact that I do bodypump 3xweek and cardio 3xweek, as well as getting my steps in. I have been stuck at 66kg for the last 2 months. The scale will not budge. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. The calorie deficit should have caused weight loss, but there are not results and I’m going insane. I thought about slowly raising my calories back to a gentler deficit when I got halfway to my goal (so like, 63-4kg), but because of how ive lost Zero weight I’m so scared of increasing and gaining. If anyone has any tips or advice, please help.
