Is doing lots of cardio a healthy way to lose weight faster?
I know the minimum recommended daily caloric intake is around ~1500 per day for a man. That means I can lose about a pound and a half to two pounds per week. If I start running and burn calories I assume I will need to eat extra to fuel myself. How much does that 1500 need to rise after lots of cardio.
Am I always locked at that two lbs to stay healthy or can I go faster with lots of cardio and a smaller ration of calories?
Also, if the above does work. Would walking 20,000 steps vs ~7,000 i get right now make an impactful difference. Or do I actually have to run/bike/etc.
