Lose weight without strictly counting calories?
Hi, I would love to learn more about tips and tricks on how to lose weight without strictly counting calories (I’m ok with rough calculations, however I feel it is rather depressing strictly weighing and counting every ingredient when cooking).
The aim is to lose 4-5kgs (SW: 63kgs, 171 cm). For now I go out running 1-2 times a week and go to the gym 3-4 times a week.
Gym sessions usually consist of 30 min cardio and about an hour of strength exercise such as deadlift, bench press, shoulder press, plank, lunges and abdominal exercises.
How can I lose weight without counting everything I eat? How much less should I eat on days when the workout isn’t too intense? What proportions should I focus on: should I avoid carbs like pasta and rice as much as possible?
Also: are there any tips on how to make my workouts more efficient for busy weeks?
Thank you, I appreciate all info I can get!
