Resisting Temptation
This is half a rant, half an ask for advice. Normally I'm okay with my diet. I rarely eat meat and fish and usually cook for myself. I don't always hit my calorie goal but if I'm not under im usually at maintenance which I'm okay with.
Just this week has been full of excuses. It's the first week of uni and usually I go to work afterwards. I tell myself I grant myself a snack on the go for breakfast and then get tempted and buy a sweet treat for later too. Yesterday I allowed myself to have a Mac and cheese type pasta for dinner because I came home so late. Now I just bought a few days worth of pastry cause it was on sale (500g/343 cal per 100) and I'm just getting annoyed that I did. Even if I fit it around my calorie goal, this food isn't going to be great for me. I wanted to become more whole foods plant based and this week has been an almost complete U turn from that. Ugh!
I'm okay when I'm at home but when I see these things I have such a hard time not buying them... And while this week was extreme, I fear my schedule will look similar in the future and I can only hope I'll be able to pull myself together
Tldr; buying too much unhealthy stuff, thereby messing up my diet
