What exactly is the problem?

The confusion of eating in a deficit

I am a 17 year old 179 cm height 77kg bodyweight.

My maintainence calories are stated to be approximately 3100, but I eat at 2200, still don't lose weight rapidly..I eat between 1900-2200 calories, and workout 6 days a week.

Is it possible that I may be eating too less? And as a result, my body has started holding off all the fat? to prevent starvation?

I lost 5 kgs in 2 months at a supposedly 900 calorie deficit. What am I doing wrong? Is it the diet? Workout split? I used to workout bro split withOUT cardio..

Since 2 weeks I've started a PPL with 2 days of cardio. Now, if there must be any changes, please educate me..
