37F Down 21lbs in 4months (176>155). My teenage daughter, 14, has taken notice and wants to lose weight also (5’2” 167lb)

Any advice for me? I didn’t put on my weight until I started having kids, so I’m not sure what is a safe and healthy method of weight loss for a teenager. I also don’t want to unknowingly contribute to body shaming or any issues with self-esteem. She is a surprisingly sweet-natured and happy teenager so far, lol. I want her to gain confidence and most importantly, be healthy and fit. She is about to start marching band season, which will greatly increase her activity level, although currently she’s pretty sedentary unless I plan a hike every couple of weeks. Thanks in advance for any experience you can share!
