A colleague told my I gained weight today.

Backstory: I started my weight loss journey in March 2017 at 165 pounds. I was steadily able to lose weight and by February this year, I was down to 122 pounds and I felt great. Then, due to a variety of circumstances at work and my personal life, as well as my own lack of discipline, I fell off the wagon, stopped counting calories and was eating very unhealthily. I've been too scared to weigh myself recently but the last time I checked, I was 132 pounds, meaning I have gained at least 10 pounds in the past 5 months.

Today, I was chatting with my colleague about how I don't enjoy traveling for work and he responded by saying "I noticed you've gained weight since the beginning of the year. It's probably because you've been eating out a lot." I was shocked and unable to respond. No one outside of my family has ever commented on my weight, much less a colleague that I didn't know very well. I was upset to say the least and I was really getting down on myself for letting things get out of hand.

Now that I've had time to think, I'm taking this as a sign that it's about time that I get back on track and recommit myself to my goals. I've made so much progress since last March and while I've still got a ways to go, I know that I can do it again. Wish me luck!
