You know what I've recently found is one of the nicest things about losing 80 kg (176 lbs)?
I just had my first REAL cheat weekend, not just going over my caloric budget or eating outside of my intermittent fasting window.
Two family sized pepperoni pizzas with a couple of cheese and chili garlic breads, a liter of top quality French Vanilla ice cream, three family sized bags of M&Ms and one of Maltesers, a few 2 Ltr bottles of Coke and a charcuterie and cheese board for three people that I ate myself.
Didn't feel the slightest bit guilty at any time while I enjoyed every bite, and after all of that I only put on 3.8 kg (8 lbs), and I'll take that back off within 4 or 5 days.
Now put that in contrast to when I used to eat like that every day. I never really enjoyed the food because it was an every day thing, just more of the same, and I would feel a tremendous amount of guilt with every bite and felt shame when I went to the store or restaurant to buy the food.
So not only do I have increased mobility, an improved quality of life and also feel proud of myself for the first time in a decade, but now I actually enjoy the food that used to make me feel like shit because it's a real treat, not a horrible, misguided way I live my life.
Literally everything is better now.
