What quote-unquote UNhealthy foods are surprisingly low-calorie?
I know lots of people ask what foods are low-calorie but filling, or ask for ideas of healthier, macro-balanced snacks and whatnot. However, a guilty splurge at the grocery store left me pleasantly surprised and I'd love to share. I grabbed a small box of mini-meringue chocolate cookies, thinking I'd just enjoy a few (because I assumed they were super calorie-heavy). Nope, it was actually only 80 calories for 14 cookies! Maybe because the mixture has a lot of air? I don't know, but it was so nice to feel like I was really treating myself for >100 calories. Sure, they're not exactly going to keep me full or offer lots of protein, it's still basically sugar/empty calories. But it was a nice treat, nonetheless.
What other foods let you feel decadent without wrecking your calorie goals?
