I'm losing weight but spiraling

This is a throwaway account - I'm M/28/6'2"/285

At my highest I was 310 and I have managed to stay pretty consistent in eating well these past 2 months. I've never gone this long without sugar but it has definitely helped.

My problem is the longer I go, the more clearly I can see myself and my life. I feel like I was living meal to meal before and now that I'm not, I'm just sad.

I haven't gotten off-track with my food, so by all accounts I should be happy with the progress. But it's like with each pound I lose the more I realize how much I had gotten out of control and it just paralyzes me. Has anyone else felt like this before?
