Struggling with breakfast
Hi all,
Here is my issue. I'm really bad at breakfast! I don't know what to eat that will help me reach my goals. I'm trying to lose about 40 lbs of fat and get enough protein in every day. For lunch and dinner and snacks, it's easy for me to pick from a variety of healthy options that are both low enough in calories and filling, but I just don't have a lot of breakfast options.
Eating clean, minimally processed foods is also a priority for me, but the thing is that I'm also short on time. I know healthy and quick/convenient are sometimes mutually exclusive :( I would love to make an egg white omelette with veggies every morning but that just won't happen with my schedule. At the same time, I don't want to resort to pre-packaged meals like frozen breakfast sandwiches or waffles with microwave bacon (which is what I've been having a lot when I'm rushed) because again I'd like to eat whole foods that aren't processed, but I just don't know a lot of good options.
I eat a lot of oatmeal which I've kinda grown sick of. I LOVE fruit but don't know what to pair it with. What can I eat in the morning that will be fast, nutritious, weight-loss friendly, and minimally processed? All help and suggestions appreciated!
