Low self confidence hindering motivation to lose weight

Like many people, I've found lockdown really hard particularly due to living alone and shielding for the majority of it.

On top of that, my job was absolutely horrendous and, as a result of working 14 hour days and emotional manipulation, I ended up eating absolute rubbish and drinking a lot. No surprise that the weight piled on!

I'm 5ft 7, currently 185lbs. Ideal weight for me is around 140lbs, I've never been as heavy as I am now. Now we're almost out of restrictions and mingling more, I feel utterly ashamed of how I look.

I'm around 6 weeks into my new job after escaping my previous hell hole and really hoped that it would give me the boost to reignite my love of fitness but, so far, I'm just feeling exhausted all the time (not from the new job though - that's great!).

I know what I need to do and have got Les Mills On Demand at home, together with a smart trainer for my bike. No matter how much I hate myself, I just can't find the 'get up and go'. It's almost as if my self confidence is so low I don't feel worthy of changing. When I've worked out lately I get frustrated that my fitness is nowhere near what it was and it knocks my confidence more.

I've just got the Polar Ignite 2 as a motivation tool and to make me accountable but has anyone got any tips as to how to get back into good habits with working out/overcoming that 'bleugh' feeling? I'm tempted to convert my spare room into a little home gym so I have a dedicated area.

I use MFP and track everything I eat.
