How to best accurately measure a portion
I am trying very hard to be as accurate as possible with my food measurements but I have a very hard time reckoning the accuracy of measuring out a portion from a recipe. For instance, tonight I will cook a chicken and vegetable stir-fry that includes 2 chicken breasts, 1 orange pepper, an onion, celery, bean sprouts in a black pepper sauce. Great, I can easily accurately add the recipe and divide it into 4 portions, however, how do I know how many grams of each ingredient are on my plate? Would you go as far as to pick your serving apart and weigh each component individually? I've had a problem in the past where I wasn't accurate enough and I am wondering how others treat a multi-ingredient recipe like this? I ask because I often cook stir-fries or similar type dishes and could use any tips or tricks to help.
