Cooked or Uncooked that Is the Question
Right, so. I have a question that has been bothering me for a number of years. Ever since I started losing weight, through my maintenance, bulking and cutting periods. I wake up at night in a cold sweat wondering if I over ate or under ate.
Is serving size based on cooked or uncooked? Obviously 100g of cooked rice is completely different to 100g of uncooked rice. I HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING WITH THIS QUESTION FOR YEARS! Apparently from my own research, there is no standard!? Some companies do label if it is cooked or uncooked (top tier companies do that).
I’ve been looking at this packet of red lentil pasta for the better part of 15 minutes. I worked out that if you use the servings per pack, that’s usually an indication on uncooked or cooked?
Eating the “perfect” amount is hard.
