Weight-loss journey + ADHD medication = recipe for disaster?

Hello everyone! This is my first post to reddit as I was told it may be a good place to get some advice, please let me know if this is the incorrect place to submit this.

I (26F) have recently begun taking ADHD medication which I think is having a negative impact on my weight loss journey. I have been actively trying to lose weight through a combination of diet (protein-rich foods and complex carbs) and exercise. Before starting my medication I had lost 15lbs which is great.

Now the issue: one of the side effects of my ADHD medicine is a severely decreased appetite. It is now at the point where I will have to eat breakfast before taking it because I will not think about food for the rest of the day (till like 10pm). At this point it is too late for me to eat as I will need to go to bed too soon after. It is having an impact on the diet side of my weight loss as I am not eating enough and I am afraid I am losing weight in an extremely unhealthy manner. I have lost an extra 7lbs in 2 weeks due to this and I fear I will gain it and all I have lost back if I continue this way.

Does anyone have any advice or any tips/tricks that helped them overcome an issue like this? It does not have to be ADHD specific, just anything that could help with remembering to eat or increasing my appetite.

Thank you in advance!
