[Pics] From an Obese 16 year old to a Normal 18 year old
I began my journey in August of 2016 or so, I was nearly 230 pounds and 6 foot. I was obese and hated doing anything because of how embarrassed I was. I would binge eat really bad, I always had to have something to munch on at the time. When I started, one of the biggest things I tried to do was to eliminate the need to eat all the time. One thing I found that helped a lot was gum. I kept on with this and by January of 2017 I had dropped down to about 210 pounds. I plateaued for a while there until I started playing tennis in March. As soon as I started tennis, I dropped another 10 pounds and gradually over the course of summer I went down to 190. I would have lost more weight had I eaten better, or just eaten less. The start of my senior year, I weighed 190 pounds, I was determined to lose more, I started portioning out what I would eat, just cutting down the amount. As the year progressed I slowly lost weight. I just finished my senior year, 170 pounds and 6 foot. I finally have a normal BMI and couldn't be more proud. I still have more to go, but I'm much happier with who I am and it has grown my confidence.
PS. I couldn't always find pictures of me when I was at my peak, so I tried to find ones close to the time.
Here is an album of some of the pictures.
Edit: Thank you guys for the kind words!
