I just ha d a piece of café pie with whipped cream, and a chai tea, foam on top, with drips of coffee, syrup and cinnamon. It definitely saved my mood and my day.
I am not going to tell you I’ve made progress. I’ve started excersing in classes 3-5 days a week, sometimes doubled by taking yoga classes after. I’ve bought broccoli, kale and more meat like chicken legs or ground beef or slices of pork.
At 6’3, 210 lbs I am overweight with a BMI at aroudn 20-24. I haven’t lost a gram in a year. Up and down. I know this is because I do not track calories.
If I exercise more, I eat more. If I travel more, I get tempted more. An errand day, is a surplus calorie day.
And today was one, on top of a temp job that was physically demanding, exhausting, and frankly, demeaning. I crawled around on a floor and seiped dust in a metal factory. I dreamed of studying finance. Got bullied out.
And I have so many more issues in my life. Moving. Health. Lack of relationships or a career trajectory.
So when I’ve been totally worn down in every way possible, (I even had my forst vaccination shot today and my arm is sore), this calorie bomb helps tremenduously.
I want you to know that the reason you lose weight is because you aim to be happy. Happy with your own body, and with your partner.
A slice of pie and chai latte definitey helps on a low point. Especially when everyone and everything seems to be against you.
